Business Consulting Institute and the PAUCI Foundation will implement, during April – November 2013, a project which will offer training to the institutions from the Republic of Moldova to efficiently use the funds provided by the Joint Operational Programme Romania – Ukraine – Republic of Moldova 2007 – 2013. It was launched on April 3, 2013, and will be carried out with the financial support of the PAUCI Foundation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
Specialists of local public administration and non-governmental organizations from 24 local communities in Moldova will participate to the project “Training for the local communities in the Republic of Moldova for the efficient use of funds provided by the European programmes of cross-border cooperation”. They will attend two trainings in project management, during May 29-31 and June 3-5, 2013. The trainings will be followed by two study visits to Poland, which will present the Polish experience of implementing European cross-border cooperation programmes.
In the following stage, the communities will elaborate project concepts, according to the requirements of the JOP Romania – Ukraine – Republic of Moldova. The project’s team of experts will select six project ideas, which will be further developed with the support of the experts from Poland and Moldova. Final results will be presented in the project closing conference.
The activities will improve the quality of developed projects and the participation of local public administrations and NGOs to the Joint Operational Programme Romania – Ukraine – Republic of Moldova. Project beneficiaries will include more than 50 community representatives, potential partners from Ukraine and Romania and the organizations implementing the Joint Operational Programme. The consultants and partners from Moldova will also gain knowledge and experience of implementing EU cross-border cooperation programmes.
