Tourism support activities in a regional project



Business Consulting Institute conducted in April several activities with significant impact on tourism sector.


Thus leading actors of tourism in Moldova attended trainings organized by BCI, learning to develop and promote public-private partnership projects. Business Consulting Institute and its project partners from Georgia, Bulgaria and Ukraine developed several modules in wine tourism, ecology and social media and trained 28 representatives of local public authorities, managers of tourist attractions, entrepreneurs and owners of boarding houses.


During 2-5 April 2015, BCI and its partners participated in the International Specialized Exhibition of Tourism, Leisure and Hotels and promoted their common project “Black Sea Network for Sustainable Tourism - Strategies for joint tourism marketing and development in the Black Sea region". BCI and the Tourism Agency of the Republic of Moldova organized a workshop and presented a marketing study on 10 most important tourist destinations in Moldova.


Business Consulting Institute also hosted two study visits of its project partners. They visited the southeastern region of Moldova (Causeni, Purcari) to observe the way rural tourism products are supported.


The project “Black Sea Network for Sustainable Tourism - Strategies for joint tourism marketing and development in the Black Sea region" is financially supported by the European Union through the Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme.
