Moldova: Cooperation in Regional Development

Implementation period:  March 2009 – September 2010

Goal: Reducing poverty and inequality in the Republic of Moldova as a result of economic growth.

Objective:

• Implementation of a national strategy for regional development which promotes global economic growth.

Rezults:

• Elaboration of 3 regional development strategies based on economic, social and environmental analysis.
• Gather the documents necessary to launch a call for proposals within FNDR.
• Assistance in elaborating the Regional Operational Plans.
• Assistance  in developing training modules.
• Improve institutional capacities.
