Assistance Training Program for Private Farmers “Marketing of Agricultural Products”

 

Implementation period: May 2002 - December 2002 

 

Sponsor: Centre of Private Business Reform (USAID Program) 

 

Goal: To provide training in the marketing of agricultural products to the Moldavian Regional Unions of Agricultural Producers.    

 

Objectives: To train 20 persons in marketing, to organize 10 seminars for each Business Centre in each regional office.

 

Results

  • Developed the Excel based tools and the detailed marketing methodology
  • Organized 4 one-day seminars in Bălţi and Hânceşti
  • Organized 10 two-day seminars according to the schedule agreed
  • Assisted regional Business Centres in presenting first Business and Marketing Plans.
