Young entrepreneurs’ study visit in Estonia

The Rural Entrepreneurship Cup, aiming to discover, support and promote young entrepreneurs in rural regions, recently came to an end. It was organized by Business Consulting Institute, the Business Incubator in Soroca and CPD Estonia within the project "Promoting entrepreneurship in developing rural areas". The project is financially supported by the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Fund for Development and Humanitarian Aid.

The big prize was awarded to the team led by Sergiu Ursachi, having started a tourist souvenir producing business in Soroca with a group of friends. The winning team has been invited to make a study visit in Estonia to learn from local business experience. They have visited Estonian business incubators operating in the fields of metal processing, textile industry, creative industries etc.

The study visit has offered information about business support infrastructure (industrial and science parks, mentoring programs), startups and development trends.

The visitors have also attended an important event for startups in Estonia, the Brain Hunt contest of young entrepreneurs, which had more than 3,000 innovative business ideas.
