The Feasibility Studies for the Edinet, Hancesti and Cantemir Industrial Parks, presented at the Ministry of Economy

BCI has finalized the elaboration of the Feasibility Studies concerning the creation of the Industrial Parks in Edinet, Hancesti and Cantemir rayons. The reports were presented on March 14, 2011 at the Ministry of Economy.

The Ministry of Economy and the local authorities of the Republic of Moldova intend to create 3 Industrial Parks in the above-mentioned rayons on the basis of public property, in the framework of Improved Capacities for Managing Development Project, which is financially supported by the United Nations Development Programme.

Moreover, the Ministry of Economy intends to establish business incubators within the industrial parks, which will increase the rate of success of start-ups and will become efficient mechanisms for promoting entrepreneurship and public-private partnership and provide new job creation.        

Within this project, Business Consulting Institute was assigned the task of elaborating three feasibility studies for the creation of the Industrial Parks, based on public property of central and/or local authorities.
