Training in project management for rayon councils of Moldova



Rayon councils of Moldova and partner NGOs were invited to attend, during May 29-31 and June 3-5, 2013, two trainings in project management, aiming to teach them how to use in an efficient way funds provided by the Joint Operational Programme Romania – Ukraine – Republic of Moldova 2007 – 2013. 

  

Beneficiary rayons were: Anenii Noi, Basarabeasca, Briceni, Calarasi, Cantemir, Causeni, Cimislia, Criuleni, Donduseni, Drochia, Dubasari, Edinet, Ialoveni, Leova, Nisporeni, Ocnita, Orhei, Rezina, Rascani, Sangerei, Soldanesti, Stefan Voda, Straseni and Taraclia. Rayons which are not mentioned in this list have experts in the field of project management and investments or have previously participated to similar projects.   


Each of the training courses lasted three days and was hosted by Hotel Iris. Presented subjects included: definitions and stages of a project, analysis of problems and objectives, strategy definition, planning of activities, the implementation methodology, results, indicators and means of verification, project budget etc. The trainings were concluded with evaluation tests.    

    

We reiterate that Business Consulting Institute and the PAUCI Foundation implement the project “Training for the local communities in the Republic of Moldova for the efficient use of funds provided by the European programmes of cross-border cooperation”. It has the financial support of the PAUCI Foundation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. Training activities were held within this project. They will be followed by two study visits to Poland, which will present the Polish experience in implementing European cross-border cooperation programmes.
