From September 29 to October 1, 2010, in the Meeting Room of the Praetura of the Central sector of Chisinau will be held training seminars on “The implementation of performance-based budget in the administration of Chisinau Municipality”, which will be organized in the framework of the project “Good Governance in Chisinau – introducing performance-based budget in the capital of the Republic of Moldova”.
The project is financially supported by the Program CEI/KEP and co-financed by the Assistance Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland and is implemented by the Cooperation Foundation PAUCI (Poland) in partnership with Business Consulting Institute (Republic of Moldova).
The project aims to promote and implement the concept of performance-based budget in the operation of the administration of Chisinau Municipality basing on the evaluation of the current financial system and local budgeting process in the Republic of Moldova.
Representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Chisinau Mayoralty, subordinated bodies and civil society organizations are invited to the seminar.
This training seminar is the second one in this project and its goal is to familiarize the participants with the practical aspects and key elements of performance budgeting applied in the financial administration of Krakow (Poland) and mechanisms for citizen participation in budgeting and monitoring of tasks implementation. The training is offered by practitioner experts from Krakow (Poland) and the Republic of Moldova.
