Business consultants from both sides of Nistru River now have the opportunity to be awarded the Certified Management Consultant designation

Twenty five persons from both sides of Nistru River who have successfully completed a 5-module training program and have prepared their consulting projects will be examined this week by a commission formed of 4 foreign evaluators.

The training program, previously conducted in January-April 2017, is part of a project which aims to increase competitiveness through training and certification of business consultants, and is implemented by CPM Consulting (Austria), BCI (Moldova) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Tiraspol, within the Support to Confidence Building Measures Programme of UNDP Moldova and with the financial support of the European Union.

Obtaining the International Certificate of Certified Management Consultant, which is the highest quality standard a consultant can reach, is a very valuable opportunity, as national consulting associations currently don’t have the possibility to be accredited by ICMCI nor to get the CMC certificate. It will make national consultants become more competitive and able to provide consultancy services for the international market.

At the beginning of training courses each participant had to choose a business consultancy assignment with a client and to develop this project throughout the 4-month training period. The participants have been coached by the project experts. The report on the business consultancy project is part of each candidate’s assessment for certification.

The International Certificate of Certified Management Consultant is issued by Incite, the Certification Body of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber and the Austrian Branch of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI). The international CMC certificate is recognized in more than 50 countries.
