Goal: Create a strong regional partnership and establish cooperation among the regions of the Black Sea Basin.
Objectives:
- To improve regional capacity for planning, coordination and implementation of joint strategic documents;
- To build a network for the promotion and implementation of market orientated tourist products;
- Improve knowledge/skills and develop tourism products in partner regions according to needs of international markets;
- Establish a common agenda for sustainable tourism development in the Black Sea Basin;
- Intensify cross-border economic cooperation through tourism.
Results:
- There will be established 5 cross-border partnerships: stakeholders and experts from 5 countries will work together to promote joint tourism projects;
- 600 entrepreneurs / economic agents and 40 local governments participating to 32 trainings;
- 16 workshops, 8 internal roundtables, 20 study visits, 8 internal trainings;
- 4 strategies for cross-border tourism cooperation, 1 feasibility study, 5 PPPs, 6 specialised marketing researches, 1 IT platform developed in the project;
- Minimum 50 cross-border public events, 2400 catalogues and info packages, newspapers etc.
- Minimum 10 tourist destinations promoted by each partner country;
- 5 regional tourism fairs.
