Goal:

To review Moldova’s Public Procurement Law and to propose a draft of law in order to align it with the WTO Public Procurement Agreement

To support the successful implementation of public procurement reforms and to increase public sector capacity for efficient procurements, in compliance with the law and the public procurement regulatory framework

 

Objectives:   

  • To review the PPL and all its modifications and to prepare a new draft of law
  • To organize a training seminar for the civil servants in order to inform about the WTO Public Procurement Agreement, as well as to present the draft law and the institutional reform
  • To discuss and correlate all the developed documents to be included in the final report.

 

Results 

  • The draft of the Public Procurement Law
  • A draft of Law concerning the modification of other public procurement normative acts
  • Report on the adjustment of Moldova’s legislation to WTO recommendations
  • Seminar for the civil servants about the WTO Public Procurement Agreement, the draft law and the institutional reform  
  • 6 working sessions on developed documents
  • Final Report on the project implementation.
